Soo this is my mom and we're outside our town house when she
was leaving for  work on a Tuesday if I could remember....
I took this at first.... Well...  First she would let me at first
because she wanted make-up. Hahaha! But I took it to show her
smile. She likes her work but sometimes is stressful for her.
+This one is my top favorite out of all actually.+

~My Reactions to These Questions~

1. How would you define beauty in photography?

...... Hmmmm... My definition of beauty in photography... Is just showing something that it really is.. The truth of the thing in the picture.. Or a story behind it.. I guess?? This is a hard question... =w=; 

2. What are the Characteristics of photographic beauty?

.... Uhhhhh.... OvO; Well... Focused on the important things in the picture... And.... How things are colored and shaded....??

3. Can something "Ugly" be photographed and be considered beautiful? Why? How? Examples?

This is kinda hard because the definition of "Ugly" can vary.. It is possible to take a picture of something "ugly" and make it beautiful by making it look like it has a story or the lighting and shading to make it seem that it has meaning.... I guess.. I dunno I'm just blabbing... I'm sorry!! T^T And Examples... Uhhhh..... A dead... Squirrel?? QvQ;

~Questions~ 

1. Who was Alfred Stieglitz and why is he in the history of Photography?
He was an American photographer that was instrumental in accepting photography as a type of art like painting and sculptures .. At least that what I think they were trying to say. Ummm... He did take some pictures and entered little contest and stuff like that..  And was in alot of Photo clubs and magazine editor.

2. Choose a photograph he made, upload it to your blog, and explain why you chose it as your favorite by him.

I had to choose from a lot of pictures that I thought was pretty but I chose this one because of how the horses shook off the snow that was on them and I just thought it was really cool..

3. With what famous painter was he in a relationship with? Who was she? Upload a painting by her that you like.
He got married to this woman named Georgia O'Keeffe. She was a painter. But he was married to this other girl first named Emmeline and I guess he had an affair with her and he like ditched her for Georgia... Not cool man... Oh.. But it did say he married Emmeline only for money.. Which is still uncool.. But anyway!

It was kinda hard to pick a picture that I liked but this one caught my eye..I like the antlers and the color of the skull.

EXTRA: How did they influence each other in their art making?
Well Georgia gave George what he wanted which was the muse. He took pictures of her obsessionally from 1918 to 1925 which said was the most prolific period of his life. The pictures he took of her showed her personality and beauty and he took close ups of some of her body parts, mostly her hands alone or on her face. (Even though most of her pictures were like.. Nude... But some weren't! That was good!) Georgia's biographer said it was important that it caught her personality.
